Description

Lecture no. 7 on Conchology continues with descriptions of the Genera of Bivalves, inlcuding mussels, oysters, scallops, and extinct families. It includes a 6-page mini-lecture on the formation of pearls and the history of the pearl industry. William Wagner first wrote this lecture in 1852. He continued to alter and add to the text until he stopped lecturing in 1884.
