Description

Lecture no. 7 on Mineralogy starts an exploration of the chemical characteristics of minerals. This includes descriptions of various methods of chemical analysis and identification, and a list of all simple forms of minerals, their categories, and brief histories. Wagner first delivered this course of lectures in the Fall of 1853. He continued to alter and add to the text until he stopped lecturing in 1884.
