18. Restored skeleton of Hadrosaurus foulkii from 76 fossil fragments
Description
A heavily retouched photoprint of Benjamin Waterhouse Hawkins standing underneath the Hadrosaurus foulkii skeleton at the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia. Though the photograph does not have a date or photographer signature, it can be assumed that it was taken sometime in 1868 when Hawkins contributed the skeleton to the Academy.
