The respective correspondence of most of the correspondents in this folder largely discuss their progress in submitting their manuscripts to the American Entomological Society (AES) for publication. Thomas Lincoln Casey’s correspondence is centered around his various manuscripts on Coleoptera. Nell Bevel Causey’s correspondence with Ezra T. Cresson, Jr is about her manuscript on new Diplopods of the family, Fontariidae.
Margaret M. Cary was a member of the AES, who participated in various activities and leadership roles. Her correspondence mentions her work with conducting two clubs, possibly through the AES, for young children between the ages, 9-14. Many within her family were also members of the AES such as her husband, Jack Cadbury, and her nephew, John W. Cadbury III.
